Dear Valued Patients:
Welcome to our private and secure patient portal feature. Our patient portal exceeds HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) internet security requirements and allows you to:
- Request appointments
- Send and receive secure messages to myself or my office staff
- Request prescription refills
- View account balances and make payments
- Access some of your medical records, such as current medications, allergies and diagnoses
Our patient portal system is easy to use. All my office needs is your request for portal access and your email address. Our electronic health records system will then send an invitation to your email account to log in to our portal. You will have 48 hours to accept the invitation. Once you accept the invitation, you will be provided with a link and secure access to the portal.
Once your portal connection has been established you will receive message alerts via your email when my office has posted anything new to your patient file and/or portal account.
I am always looking for ways to improve upon and enhance the patient experience at Eye Plastics Northwest, and I am glad to be able to provide this secure and interactive account access feature to my patients.
